Don't Attempt Anything Involving Communications During a Retrograde Mercury!
Just a short blog post to remind any readers that during that period of a retrograde Mercury, any attempt to update anything on a PC/Mac, send an email, make a payment etc could be slowed down or at worst result in outright failure!
Case in point: I set up this blog around March 2025, added three posts and then ignored it for nearly a year. After a hiatus, I decided it is time to resuscitate this dying organ (I mean this blog, not my brain!).
Like many bloggers, I offer my thoughts free of charge, but would gladly accept gifts/contributions should anyone feel moved to help. I decided to use the Buy Me Coffee platform to enable this. However, just as I was about to complete the Buy Me a Coffee account, the system decided not to connect to the payment company! Result: I cannot complete the donation receipt set up and this project is delayed further.
This is typical of conditions that occur during a retrograde Mercury: communications interrupted and potential receipt of funds delayed. Also, one should note that Uranus is particularly powerful in the world at present. Uranus is the Great Disruptor and also rules electricity and electronics. I really didn't stand a chance of completing this task smoothly, did I?
Add-on: I fixed the problem - I didn't read the troubleshooting suggestion offered by Support correctly (another trait of mercury in retrograde!).
